Accepted. The PF employee passbook lookup did not finish inside the synchronous wait window and is still running. The response carries a reference_id instead of data. Poll GET /verify/result/{reference_id} after retry_after_seconds until it stops returning 202. This 202 is not billed; the charge, when the verification is billable, is applied once the verification completes. Repeating the same request while the job is in flight returns the same reference_id and does not start a second verification or a second charge.
